When we started the development of our concept, it was extremely important for us to adapt our designs to modern taste and expectations. Therefore we decided to produce them, using modern materials. Our products have a non-woven basis. Some of them have a structure of a non-woven wallpaper, so that you can easily attach panels to the wall yourself, where as they are light in weight, too. Others on the contrary have a thick surface with a beautiful uneven structure, which feels and looks e.g. like leather or sanded gold etc.
We do not describe our wallpapers as “made of silk” or “using rice paper”, although it gives a feeling of luxury. Original Chinese wallpapers were traditionally not made of these materials either (for more information, please go to Chinoiserie). However, even if you find a description like this in other offers, these materials are barely used.
Our wallpapers and panels are produced with love and patience, the artists invest hours of manual work. We appreciate high quality of materials, detailed paintings and possibly authentic classical embroidery.

Each product, both in stock and individual orders, are unique. When wallpapers are painted by hand, it is not possible to make an exact copy. With this being said, each wallpaper and panel deliver same high quality, but with slight differences in design.
Under Collection you will find in-stock designs. At the same time you can order your own customized project, where you can decide on the background, painting colours, the motive and further features, e.g. gilding metal details like 24K gold. In order to choose the background material you can request a sample.
We can create a customized reproduction for you. Please be advised that it is not always possible to exactly reconstruct the originals due to copyright. In this case we can use our own originals, for which we obtained a license, or you can also provide your own and we find a solution.
The wallpapers can be attached to an empty wall or cut in order to arrange them in an existing interior. The panels can be placed on a wall as a part of it or be framed. In this case we strongly recommend not to use glass in front of it.
We are frequently asked about the price of our products. Currently, a lot of similar products in a lower price range are offered online, e.g. printed full wall coverings for a half amount.
At this point you have to ask yourself a question: what do I really want? Do I want to obtain a printed wall covering with standard imagery and repeating patterns, exactly the same everybody else could buy? Or do I want to integrate a unique part of history into my living room, bedroom etc.?
If you decide to acquire a unique piece of art, you need to know that a painting of a 160*100 cm panel takes approx.18 hours without preparation and the time frame to complete the panel. Nonetheless, ask yourself how much are emotions and happiness, when you receive our item, worth for you.
As previously mentioned, all our creations are unique and also customized orders. Therefore, it is not possible to return them.
